I've got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy down in my heart....

Well, let's recap, in the whirlwind of the last three years, I moved to India, married an Indian, and had a baby!  Introducing, Meela Joyce Salagali.  Joyce is a family name from John's side (his sister), and boy does it describer her!  This little one is full of smiles, giggles, and endless cuteness.  She has been the source of a great amount of joy for our little family.

Now that this munchkin has been with us for a few months, John and I have returned to our daily norm.  My writing duties have now extended beyond Elijah Times as we have begun writing a booklet about laying hold of the spiritual resources promised to the children of God.  It is our hope that in reading this booklet, people will come to understand that by leaving behind the perspectives that were formed before our redemption, replacing those perspectives with the truth of the Spirit, and transforming our minds to view the world through a Heavenly perspective, that we as Christians will be able to walk in the fullness of the inheritance that we received when Christ died on the cross.  This method of inner healing has the power to rewrite our automatic responses to daily circumstances and replace, addiction, anger, jealousy, depression, etc. with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.

Rather than struggling and striving to force ourselves to respond in a godly way, what if we were transformed to automatically respond out of the overflow of a redeemed mind?  That's the goal....natural and abundant joy, natural and abundant peace, natural and abundant kindness, faithfulness, etc.

It's time to turn the frown upside down and embrace the Joy of the revelation of our freedom from brokenness.
