See You Soon America!

Dear Friends and Family,

I can’t even believe that I am saying this but.....we’re coming home!

Some of you may have guessed, considering that many of my recent Facebook posts have been regarding consulate visits and immigration paperwork, but now it’s finally official!  After our experience filing for John’s fiancĂ© visa it seems almost surreal that we began the Green Card process in August and had his immigrant visa approved just three months later.  We couldn’t be more thrilled.  With our return now imminent, it appears as though now is the time to share our upcoming plans with inquiring minds.

Throughout the course of the last year, I have aided in the development of a book which is focused on the topic of emotional restoration.  The hope of this book is that by giving practical tools to reestablish learned thoughts and behaviors with those that naturally overflow from fruits of the Spirit, our lives will be ripe with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  It is our hope that this book will empower the children of God to reflect the image of Christ as they live free from the weight of their own destructive patterns.  It is in this way that the children of God will be free to walk boldly, living a victorious Christian life while attaining the heart and mind of God as they bear fruit in every action.

This book, while I know it sounds fantastic all on its own J,  will also be the subject of seminars, conferences, and counseling.  Several conferences have already been held across the US as well as Brazil with upcoming conferences scheduled in Switzerland, England, and Australia. That being the case, John and I will be relocating to the US to help Kingdom Foundations with its’ upcoming ministry needs in America and abroad.  Given that our ministry focus seemed to flawlessly line up with our desire (check that…NEED) to complete John’s immigration paperwork, this appears to be the perfect time for us to return to the US for the time being.  The work that we began here in India will carry on in our absence and I feel blessed that I am able to marry the work that I started with my desire for our children to spend some much needed time with their American friends and family.

Initially, John and I will be returning to North Carolina to spend time with family as we try and find our bearings financially.  As you can imagine a transition like this is never easy.  As difficult as relocating to India seemed, returning seems twice as hard.  America is extremely expensive compared to our lives here in India, not to mention the fact that I left as a single 26 year old and will be returning as a member of a family of four.  We will be able to bring only what we can fit in approximately 5 suitcases.  The baby gear, the toys, the furnishings, kitchen appliances, pots/pans, many of our clothes….it will all be left behind.  Essentially, we will be completely starting over.  We have quite the task ahead of us.  I am confident that this is what God has next for our family and I trust that in His love for us, all of our needs will be met.  Our hope is that within two months we will be able to relocate to the Atlanta area.  It is there that I will be joined with members of the KFS team as we work to see God’s purpose in all of this come to fruition.  If you would like to help this goal become a reality, John and I welcome the help.  We will need funds for housing, furnishings, baby gear (including cribs/beds, toys, car seats, bottles, etc.), kitchen appliances, etc.  We will also be looking for affordable housing as well as jobs that could help us get on our feet during this time of transition.  If you have resources in the Atlanta area that you believe may be helpful to us, we would be grateful for any information that you can provide.

For those of you who have financially supported John and I over the last four years I want to offer a hearty, “THANK YOU!”  It has been amazing to see God consistently meet our needs through the body of Christ.  I am assured more today than ever before of the faithfulness of God to meet our needs and I walk away with an even better picture of how He uses the body of Christ to do so.  We are truly a living organism with a singular purpose, linked and interwoven by the plans of Christ and His love toward us.  It’s a beautiful thing that transcends denominations or personal agendas.  Thank you for your personal sacrifice and your investment in the advancement of God’s agenda.

I do want to take this opportunity to ask those of you who have been sponsoring monthly to continue to do so through the first six months of 2016.  As we jump back into life in America, bills will be an immediate reality, even before John and I have the opportunity to establish any kind of financial stability.  While the cost of living in America is much higher than that of India, your continued support throughout the time of this transition will give us a hand up in making this move as efficient and successful as possible.  If you are unable to continue your support during this time, please let us know by emailing me at tiffbro@gmail.com or sending me a private message on Facebook.  Thank you again for all that you have done throughout the years!

This is an exciting time for us, I was prepared to be in India for the long haul, but the chance to share my culture with our kids is an amazing blessing that I am beyond thankful for.  Even more, I am thrilled that my children will come to know the aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents that they haven’t had the chance to spend time with.

If you made it to the end of this letter, you should get a reward….Thank you for taking an interest in my life and what God is doing through it.  Your faithful support and never ending prayers are precious to me and I feel blessed to know that there are people who are genuinely invested in what God is doing through John and myself.

With all our love,

John and Tiffany Salagali
